About me
Bayo Ilori is the Lead System integration engineer at
AAM with vast experience in leading cross functional
teams in development of electric drive units and
conventional engine application. He is experienced in
powertrain controls, calibrations and diagnostic
functions for both electric drives and ICE applications.
Bayo obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical
Engineering specializing in Automotive Engineering
from University of Windsor and there after obtained his
Master’s Degree in Automotive Systems Engineering
from Lawrence Technological University. He received
is Professional Engineering designation in 2020. He
has worked in the automotive industry for over 14years
working for Stellantis and Ford in his early career as a
Controls and Calibration Engineer and most recently
working for American Axle as a Lead Integration
Engineer for electric drive applications.
When he is off from work, Bayo spends time as a
soccer coach in the community helping to train kids in
playing soccer and help facilitate social interactions
within the community. He loves playing guitar during
his downtime
